This year, the Ambrose Lions Girls Volleyball Camps are bigger, bolder, and better than ever — and here's why: every camp in our 2026 lineup has been crafted from the ground up and will be delivered and coached exclusively by the Ambrose University Staff Coaches, including our brand new Junior Varsity Women's Head Coach, and varsity athletes from both the Ambrose Lions Men's and Women's Volleyball Teams. That means you're not just attending a summer camp, you're stepping into the world of university-level volleyball, learning from the people who live and breathe this game at the highest level.
Whether you're just beginning your volleyball journey, sharpening your skills before school season, specializing in your position, or ready to go all-in on the ultimate overnight experience, we have a camp built for YOU. The Lions’ coaching staff has poured everything into creating an environment where athletes are challenged, inspired, and pushed to discover what they're truly capable of.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL CAMP: FOR CAMPERS THAT ARE LEARNING 
Ages: Grade 7 -10
Dates: July 6 – 9th, 2026
Time: 9:00-12:00pm

Master the full transition game - passing, serving, setting, digging, hitting, and blocking — and walk away a more confident, more dangerous player. If you've got a little experience and a lot of drive, this is the camp for you. Come ready to work and leave ready to compete!
GIRLS LIBERO & DEFENCE ACADEMY: FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS
Ages: Grade 9-12
Dates: July 13-17th, 2026
Time: Mon. - Thurs. 10:00am-12:30pm & Friday 9am - 3:00pm
Cost: $299 +GST
Think you have what it takes to lock down the back court? Prove it. This focused, high-intensity positions camp is built for players who are serious about dominating defence. Dive deep into passing angles, transition reads, serve receive systems, and defensive strategy that will make you a nightmare for any offence to deal with. This camp is designed for players specializing in the libero position and outside hitters looking to sharpen their back court game. This camp is not for beginners – significant club experience required.
*Please Note that Friday is ALL-DAY from 9:00am-3:00pm. Epic game play combining with the Outside Hitters & Setters Academy. You won't want to miss it!
GIRLS OUTSIDE HITTERS & SETTERS ACADEMY: FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS
Ages: Grade 9-12
Dates: July 13-17th, 2026
Time: Mon - Thurs. 2:30-5pm & Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm*
Cost: $299 +GST
Ready to be the player your team can't win without? This high-performance “positions camp” will push you to new heights. For Outside Hitters to sharpen your attacking angles, nail your transition, and become a force on both sides of the ball. Setters will focus on mastering your footwork, elevating your court vision, and learning to run an offence that keeps opponents guessing. This is elite-level training for experienced players only, significant club experience required.
*Please Note that Friday is ALL-DAY from 9:00am-3:00pm. Game Day combining with the Libero & Defence Academy. It's going to be electric!
FEATURE CAMP
OVERNIGHT GIRLS VOLLEYBALL CAMP
Age: Entering Grade 8-11
Dates: July 20-24th, 2026 (Week-long)

Welcome to the ultimate summer volleyball experience. For a full week, you'll eat, sleep, and breathe volleyball alongside Ambrose Lions Head Coaches and Varsity players. Live in the Ambrose University dorms, fuelling up in the cafeteria, and building friendships that last long after the final whistle. Expect premier skill training, position-specific coaching, team building challenges, and unforgettable evening events that make this week more than just a camp - it's a memory.
With two streams, Beginner and Advanced, players are grouped by skill, not age, so every athlete is challenged at exactly the right level. Dedicated dorm leaders keep the energy high and the good times rolling all week long.
