Meet the Coach!

Emmitt Juul-Hansen joined the Ambrose Lions family for the first time as an athlete back in 2020. After his years competing on the court, he shifted his focus to the sideline. Alongside former coach, Jose Caceres, Juul-Hansen was proud to be the lead assistant for the Lions in their most successful season in program history. From here, the natural transition was into the main leadership position with the team. 

Beyond his time with the Ambrose Lions, he holds 15 years of experience playing six of those years with ACAC instituions. He has also earned 10 years of coaching experience in a plethora of spaces from coaching youth clubs to leading camps internationally. Through this time, he has learned to support athlete development, create practice plans and manage in-game strategy. He continues to pursue ongoing professional development through NCCP and advanced coaching education, reflecting his commitment to growth, excellence, and servant leadership in sport.

Juul-Hansen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Ambrose University and has built a strong foundation of leadership shaped through his academic journey, athletic experience, and continued commitment to serving within the Ambrose community.
