Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
Jayna Thulien - WVB
Jayna Thulien, a second year right side hailing from Red Deer, was a driving force for the Lions this weekend, racking up 12 kills with an amazing .588 hitting percentage! On top of her incredible service pressure and six aces, she led through her passionate play. Her performance during the Halloween match-up rightfully earned her Player of the Game honours.

Male Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Jeff Culshaw - MVB
It was a spectacular weekend for third year left side Jeff Culshaw! The Strathmore native was named player of the game after an impressive seven kills, two aces and nine digs. He was a major contributor in the teams 3-1 victory, holding the Lions spot at #1 in the South. Beyond his game-time performance, Culshaw has consitently been a role model in every practice for his teammates.
