Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
Lindsay Hesjedal continues to lead her team both ways on the field. With her attacking prowess well known to the ACAC, she stepped up and did something new this weekend, a challenging defensive role. She has continously stood out, especially during a tough loss to league leaders Saturday afternoon, while maintaining a menacing presence both defensively and offensively in Sunday's Home Game. Hesjedal has also been crowned the Ambrose All-Time Goal Scorer for Women's Soccer this season!
Male Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Rookie defender Oliver Glazenburg has been a pillar of consistency for the Lions, playing every minute of every match this season. This past weekend, Glazenburg was a warrior on the back line—blocking multiple shots, disrupting attacks, and initiating offensive transitions. His reliability, persistence, and discipline have made him an indispensable part of our defensive unit. He may be new to the ACAC but he has definitely made his mark.
