Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
Hannah Hawach has established herself as a force for the women's soccer team this last weekend, after netting a goal against Olds on Saturday and creating repeated chances for the squad Sunday. Not only was she pressing for all 180 minutes she played, her versatility was an asset with injuries affecting the lineup. Hawach was found in all corners of the pitch, demonstrating flexibility in play. Her effective leadership was beneficial on and off the field, helping her teammates maintain focus and continuously learn, adapt and persevere.
Male Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Isaiah McMahon, a first-year Business Administration student from Chilliwack BC, was pivotal in leading the Ambrose Lions Men’s Soccer team through a competitive weekend, helping secure the programs first win of the 2025 season against the Olds College Broncos and a hard-earned point against the Red Deer Kings. McMahon made history with three goals on three shots and one assist in a 5-2 victory over the Broncos, becoming the first Ambrose player to record a hat trick in an ACAC league game. His four-point outing was central to a program record, as the Lions scored five goals- the most ever in a single regular season match.
