Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
Emilie Pregal - WVB
Emilie Pregal left everyone speechless this last weekend with a performance to remember. Ambrose's Libero was the human embodiment of "it's not over until it's over." Her agility and drive kept the Lions in play at moments that seemed impossible as they fought hard in the 2026 Women's Volleyball Championship. In six sets played she managed an impressive 39 digs and three assists.

Male Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Casey Needham - MVB
In a historic weekend for the Lions Men's Volleyball team, Casey Needham was at the helm. The setter put on a show, with five kills, 82 assists, 10 digs, two aces and two blocks over 10 sets played. This could be called the performance of the year for the first year from Edmonton, being a major player in their two victories and fifth place finish at the 2026 ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship. His performance earned him player of the game honours in the teams in their first day game against the Keyano Huskies.
